POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Leader assists in maintaining the company’s warehouses, grounds, product inventory, and tool/equipment inventory. In the case of a Warehouse Leader, you help manage Warehouse Assistants. This position is non-exempt under the FLSA and reports to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Inventory
  • Assists with the organization and maintenance of the company’s warehouses. Helps keep a constant eye on product inventory so that the company always has the products it needs for scheduled jobs.
  • Assists with the Tool Room’s organization and maintenance. Helps keep a constant eye on tool and equipment inventory so that the company always has the tools and equipment it needs for scheduled jobs.

  • Keeps the warehouse clean.
  • Assists with the company’s grounds maintenance.
  • Helps with building maintenance issues.
• Team Player
  • Helps production crews by coordinating delivery of products and tools to job sites as needed.
  • Assists with the preparation of the company facilities for on-site events.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of inventory, procurement, and warehousing.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 lb. on a regular basis.
• Ability to stay upright/stand the majority of the time.
• Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level.
• Skill in operating a personal computer and programs, and ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a screen.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred and 1+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, and/or inventory management OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company.
